Very weird experience. Difficult to follow trails. Essentially it is line of sight from painted trees. If you can't find the next painted tree, you are lost. The trail led us to a pond that when GPSed was nothing like what the map stated the trail would be. The paint on the trees looked fresh so we touched it and indeed it had been painted either that day or in the past two days. It was a fun joke that someone changed the trail and we were being led to our doom
Excellent spot to explore some wetlands and forest. It's kinda free-form as some of the trails aren't the best marked, but that's what makes it interesting. A little picnic area is on Upper Point Mills Rd with a table, and two benches overlook pretty wetlands.
